Terms of service

Updated

These terms apply when you order an invitation from oneday.cards. We wrote them to be read. If something is unclear, ask us at contact@oneday.cards.

1. Who we are

oneday.cards is run by FOP Rakhletskyi Yurii Ihorovych, a sole proprietor registered in Ukraine, at 9 Romana Kupchynskoho St, apt 229, Ternopil, Ternopil Oblast, Ukraine, registration number 3591004113. All our details are on the Company details page.

You can reach us by email at contact@oneday.cards. We answer in English and Ukrainian.

You must be at least 18 to order. These terms are published in English and Ukrainian; both versions say the same.

2. What you buy

An interactive wedding invitation: one page on a private link with your story, the order of the day, the places with a map and an RSVP form. We build it from one of our templates with your texts and photos, publish it at an address like anna-max.oneday.cards and keep it online for the hosting period of your plan.

The plans, as shown in our pricing:

  • Classic - €39: any template, one language, your texts and two photos, RSVP to your Google Sheet, a preview within 48 hours, live for 12 months.
  • Premium - €89: everything in Classic, plus Ukrainian and English versions, music, custom colours, your choice of RSVP questions, a QR card and message texts to share, a preview within 24 hours.
  • Signature - from €179: everything in Premium, plus a design made for you (palette and decor), bespoke sections, a first draft in 72 hours with three rounds of changes, your own domain and support on the wedding day. The final price is in the quote we send you.

Add-ons:

  • A second language on Classic: €15.
  • An express preview, within 24 hours (12 on Premium): €19.
  • Your own domain, per year: €29.
  • A QR card, a PDF to print: €9.
  • Another 12 months online: €19.
  • A thank-you page after the wedding: €9.

Every plan includes hosting over HTTPS, no ads, no indexing by search engines, RSVP answers in a Google Sheet shared with you, and support by email.

Not included: printing; translating your texts (we use the texts you send in each language); licences for commercial music; renewing your own domain after the year you paid for; managing your guest list beyond the RSVP.

The invitation works in a current web browser on a phone or a computer with an internet connection. Guests need no app and no account.

The template, its design and its code stay ours. You may use your invitation for your event; you may not resell it or copy the template for other events.

3. How ordering works

For now we build every invitation by hand. Ordering goes like this:

  • You send the order form: your names, the plan, the languages and how to reach you. Nothing is charged.
  • We write to you within 24 hours and collect your texts, photos and the plan of the day.
  • Within 48 hours of receiving them (24 hours on Premium) we send you a private preview of your invitation. The preview is free.
  • If you like it, you pay by a payment link. If you do not, you owe nothing.
  • Within 24 hours of payment we publish your invitation and send you the link by email.

Signature works by quote: you fill in the brief, we send a quote within 24 hours, you pay a 50% deposit, you get a first draft within 72 hours, then up to three rounds of changes, and you pay the other 50% when we publish.

Our offer is these terms together with the preview and the price we send you. You accept it by paying, and the contract starts then. We confirm the order by email with these terms attached, so you keep a copy.

4. Prices and taxes

Prices on the English site are in euros (€); the Ukrainian site sells in hryvnia (₴). We set each by hand and do not convert them at a daily rate. The price of your order is the one in your payment link.

Prices are final: we are not registered for VAT, so none is added when you pay. If your card is in another currency, your bank may charge for the conversion.

5. Payment and who charges you

You pay FOP Rakhletskyi Yurii Ihorovych directly, by card through LiqPay (PrivatBank), in euros (€), or in hryvnia (₴) when you order on the Ukrainian site, as shown in your payment link. You get a receipt by email.

You can pay by card, and by Apple Pay or Google Pay where the checkout offers them. We never see or store your card number.

6. When you get it

  • Our first reply: within 24 hours of your order.
  • The preview: within 48 hours of receiving your texts and photos; 24 hours on Premium; with express, 24 hours on Classic and 12 on Premium.
  • Publishing: within 24 hours of payment.
  • Signature: a quote within 24 hours of your brief, a first draft within 72 hours of the deposit and your materials, then the rounds of changes.

If we miss one of these times, you can give us a reasonable extra time. If we miss that too, you can cancel and get all your money back.

7. How long it stays online

  • Classic: 12 months from publishing.
  • Premium and Signature: until 6 months after the wedding, and at least 12 months from publishing.

You can extend it at any time with the “another 12 months” add-on.

We email you 30 days before the end. When the period ends, we take the invitation offline and delete its texts, photos and music; copies in our backups are deleted within the next 30 days.

Your guests’ answers have their own, shorter timeline: see Data processing.

Once published, your invitation does not change without your consent. When we improve a template, live invitations stay as they are unless you ask for the update.

8. Changes to your invitation

Before publishing: one round of changes on Classic, two on Premium, three on Signature. A round is one list of comments.

Typo fixes are free at any time, before and after publishing. Bigger edits after publishing follow your plan; if an edit costs extra, we tell you the price before we start.

9. Your content and your rights

Your texts, photos and music stay yours. You allow us to use them only to build and host your invitation and to show it to the people you send it to.

By sending them, you confirm that:

  • you may publish the photos online: your photographer allows it, and the people in them agree;
  • you have the right to publish online the music you send;
  • your texts do not break anyone’s rights or the law.

If someone claims otherwise, you help us settle it and cover the costs caused by the content you supplied, as far as the law allows.

If your photographer wants a credit, tell us and we add one.

We take a photo down within 48 hours if a person in it asks us to, and we may remove content that is clearly unlawful or that someone reports with good reason. We tell you when we do.

We show your invitation as an example of our work only if you say yes.

10. Fair use

Please do not use an invitation:

  • to deceive people, collect passwords or payment details, or send spam;
  • for hateful, violent, sexual or otherwise unlawful content;
  • to collect more about your guests than the event needs.

If an invitation breaks these rules, we may take it offline. We tell you first, unless the law or the harm requires us to act at once.

11. Your guests’ answers

You decide what to ask your guests and what to do with the answers; we store them for you. How we do it is set out in our data processing terms for couples, an appendix to these terms: Data processing. By ordering, you agree to them.

How we handle personal data in general is in our Privacy policy.

12. Changing your mind and refunds

The preview is free. After you pay: a full refund within 14 days if you have not shared the link yet. Signature: a full refund before the first draft.

At the pay step we ask whether you want us to publish right away. If you tick that box, your legal 14-day right of withdrawal ends when we publish; our own 14-day rule still applies.

The details, how long a refund takes and a form you can use are on the Refunds page.

13. If something is wrong

Your invitation should match the preview you approved, with your texts, photos and languages, and work in current browsers for the whole hosting period.

If it does not, tell us and we fix it for free. If we cannot fix it within a reasonable time, you can have part of the price back or, if the problem is serious, end the contract and get a full refund.

14. Our responsibility

We do our best to keep every invitation online and working, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service: hosting and other providers sometimes fail, and we sometimes need maintenance.

We are not responsible for:

  • problems with your guests’ devices or connections;
  • outages of services we do not control, such as hosting, Google or messengers;
  • mistakes in content you supplied or approved;
  • delays caused by content that reached us late.

If we are responsible for a loss, our liability is limited to the price you paid for the order.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for intent, gross negligence or harm to life, body or health, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

15. Ending the contract

The contract ends when the hosting period ends. You can ask us to take the invitation offline earlier at any time; outside the refund rules this does not give a refund.

We may end the contract or take an invitation offline if you seriously break these terms. If we ever have to stop the service for a reason that is not your fault, we tell you in advance, send you your guests’ answers and refund the part of the price for the unused time.

16. Complaints

If something went wrong, write to contact@oneday.cards, with your names and what happened. We answer in writing and try to settle it with you directly.

We do not take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration body. You can also contact the consumer protection authority of your country.

17. Which law applies

Governing law and courts: the law of Ukraine; the courts of Ukraine.

If you are a consumer living in the EU or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of your country and can bring a claim in its courts.

18. Changes to these terms

The terms that apply to your order are the ones you accepted when you paid; we send them with your order confirmation.

We may update these terms for new orders. For an invitation that is already online, we change them only when the law requires it or when the change is in your favour, and we tell you by email first.

If one part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies.
